2019 Faculty Position Announcement

National Chengchi University (NCCU), Taipei, Taiwan

 

The Department of Diplomacy at NCCU, located in the capital Taipei, Taiwan (Republic of China), invites applications for faculty position in International Relations. NCCU is equipped with high-quality research and is also one of the best academic institutions in Taiwan with excellent faculties specialized in International Politics and Regional Studies.

 

Currently, we are recruiting new faculty members to join the college with the following specialized fields: International Political Economy, Non-traditional Security, International Development, and Information Technology and Resource Politics. We offer flexible salary rate with a bonus up to 1 million NTD in the course of three years.

 

NCCU is known for having the best degree programs in Humanities, Social Sciences, and Business Studies in Taiwan. NCCU is the hub of East Asia research and the Institution of International Relations is one of the most important think tanks in the Asia-Pacific region.

 

In addition, NCCU libraries hold one of the most comprehensive collections in Humanities and Social Sciences in Taiwan. There are more than 2,290 Western language periodicals, 102,773 Chinese/Japanese/Korean bound periodicals, and 39,582 e-journals. We believe these rich research resources will provide a studious atmosphere to conduct research.

 

The Department of Diplomacy is one of the institutions of the College of International Affairs (CIA). Other programs in the College include: Graduate Institute of East Asian Studies (GIEAS), Master program in Japan studies (MPIJS), International Master Program in International studies (IMPIS), and Graduate Institute of Russian Studies (GIRS). Only the Department of Diplomacy covers training from BA, MA up to Ph. D. CIA has been one of the nine academic institutions at NCCU, and is an affiliated member of Association for Professional Schools of International Affairs (APSIA) since 2009.
