Recruitment of 2022 SEASAT camp Counselor 

 

To young leaders out there: Join us as the camp counselor for an exciting summer!

 

The SEASAT Youth Camp, which is co-organized by the American Institute in Taiwan(AIT) and the Taiwan-Asia Exchange Foundation(TAEF), has the objective to enrich young people, from the age of 18 to 24, in their familiarity with their ASEAN, South Asian, and Taiwanese neighbors with the hopes of promoting better understanding and cooperation among international youths. Youth leaders explore ways in which the younger generation has responded to urgent issues both locally and globally through innovative projects and design their own practical agendas so that voices from the youth can be heard.

A new edition of the SEASAT Youth Camp is coming on August 3-5 at Green World Hotel NanGang (528, Sec. 7, Zhongxiao E. Rd., Nangang Dist., Taipei City 115, Taiwan)

 

For those who study international politics and aspire to devote themselves to related careers in the future, we highly recommend you to apply. You can not only better understand the work of think tanks, but also cultivate the literacy and ability to lead and advocate in international exchanges join with joining this event as camp counselor. Now, it's time for you to show your leadership!
 

Those who attend the event will be provided with the following treatments by the organizer:

-Free lodging from 3th to 5th August, 2022 in a 2 or 3-person room at Green World Hotel NanGang (528, Sec. 7, Zhongxiao E. Rd., Nangang Dist., Taipei City 115, Taiwan)

-Standard meals and refreshments

-Local insurance in the event of unforeseen accidents.

-Local transportation for camp-related activities.

And you will also enjoy wonderful and fulfilling sessions and activities given by professional and prestigious speakers from NGOs, Academia and thinktanks.

-In the sessions, we will learn and share the issues covering “digital,” “education,” “migrants,” “ocean,” “culture,” “resilience,” “activism,” “communication,” and “youth”.The event is going to begin on August 3 at Green World Hotel NanGang.

 

The major responsibilities of the positions will include:

→→To guide group members through discussion.

→→To handle the administrative needs of group members.

→→To record the participation of members.

→→ To assist the organizer in assigning matters

→→Other assignments during the event.

→→Please note that the counselor will be required to attend some working meetings prior to the camp.
