National Chengchi University Emergency Relief Fund Application (for Students Affected by the Impact of the Escalating COVID-19 Pandemic)

1. Basis: National Chengchi University Guidelines for Student Emergency Financial Aid (Attachment 1)

2. Subsidy Recipients: Students currently enrolled in our school and have difficulty in attending school due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the financial income of the students (families).

3. Application Period: From now until August 31st, 2021 (relevant facts should occur from May 1st to July 31th)

4. Application Materials: Student Emergency Financial Aid Application Form (Attachment 2) attached with the following supporting documents:
      (1) Full Household Registration Transcript

      (2) Certificate of Enrollment (or a photocopy of the front and back of the student card with the seal of registration)

      (3) The Most Recent Year's Tax Return (including student and student's parents or legal guardians, and a list of spouse's (if applicable) Individual Income Tax Information for the previous year)

      (4) And any of the following documents:

1. Agreement on reduction of working hours between employers and employees
2. Involuntary resignation certificate issued by the company
3. The Ministry of Labor issued documents certifying the subsidy for the Recharge and Restart Training Plan.
4. The Ministry of Labor issued a document certifying the pay gap subsidy of the Peace of Mind Employment Plan.
5. Certificate of unemployment benefits issued by the Ministry of Labor

The investigation form in VI can be used instead if the documents I to V above are not available:

5. For cases where the student's (family's) financial income is affected by the escalation of the COVID-19 pandemic, the relevant fact should have occurred between May 1st to July 31st and the application should be made within the above application period.

*Note from the Ministry of Education: No duplicate applications for subsidies.
Students affected by the pandemic who are eligible for both the The Financial Aid Project for Financially Disadvantaged University and the aforementioned National Chengchi University Emergency Relief Fund or the Off-Campus Housing Rental Subsidy in this document shall apply for one of the above based on the most favorable conditions, and may not apply for more than one.
